Transit Photography

Many transit enthusiasts enjoy taking photographs of the trains and buses that they ride and see.  These photos can serve a variety of purposes.  Some document trips that I have taken.  Others create a perpetual record of equipment and liveries that are currently in service or that were retired decades ago.  Finally, there are “cityscapes” that attempt to capture not only the transit vehicle itself but the environment around it.  All of these types of photos can be found throughout my collection, which you are invited to browse.  Photos are organized by continent and country, and then usually by city.  Many pages are accompanied by basic information about the city, transit system, and vehicles on that page.  For more in depth stories behind the photographs, check out “The Travelogue.”
