São Paulo Metro: Line 3-Red
Line 3-Red first opened in 1979 (making it the second line to open), with the most recent extension of the line opening in 1988. The line is mostly elevated or at the surface, and parallels suburban rail lines for a significant distance on the eastern end of the line. The line is now 13.67 miles (22 kilometers) long with 18 stations.

This line has been in operation since
